My baby has turned 3 years old. I am happy to be past the baby stage, yet, feel a little bit sad knowing that each stage we pass, will be the last time. It is amazing to think back to how fast they grow and change. Mason is such a happy, busy, generous child with a persistent, stubborn side (he must get that part from Daddy :) ) . He is potty- trained (yes!!), likes to sing, can count 5 objects, is learning his colors, loves to play with trains, cars, motorcycles, trucks..... and his brothers. We took Mason to McDonalds for his birthday. Nana and Papa and the Trotters joined us up there. All the kids enjoyed playing in the tunnels and tubes. After a happy meal dinner, we sang to Mason with candles stuck into the brownies he had requested. He opened up the Imaginext fire station he has been talking about and exclaims "that is what I wanted!". As we were leaving he said "I have fun".........so it must have been a good birthday.
